Justin Olmstead, MSMFT, LAC Justin's client base is both sizable and varied. His two main areas of expertise are assisting men with religious commitments, notably in the Eastern Orthodox Church, and enhancing human systems such as families and teams. Specifically, Justin has extensive experience in addressing men's challenges like 'failure to launch' and sex addiction, guiding individuals through life transitions, providing pre-marital guidance for couples, and optimizing communication and dynamics within groups. Along with successfully creating and leading psychoeducation groups, Justin emphasizes the interconnectedness of thought, emotion, and behavior in his approach to coaching. His education includes a BA in Philosophy from Wayne State University; an MA in Bible and Theology from Calvin theological Seminary, and a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. In addition to being a Licensed Associate Counselor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, Justin has garnered several accolades and undergone extensive training in the field. Justin has a rich and diverse background that includes a storied history of service in the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, as well as a quarter-century in the diesel and industrial trades, retail, customer service, and Christian ministry. His coaching work began in 2009 with premarital counseling as an associate pastor. Since then, Justin has never wavered in his dedication to developing his abilities and broadening his field of knowledge. Justin is currently working on his graduate seminary degree in order to eventually be ordained as a priest in the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. Justin believes in a solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral coaching methodology. These affiliations, combined with his diverse professional experiences, shape the unique perspectives he brings to every coaching session.
