The Great Commission, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age” (Matt 28:19-20), calls us all to be perfected in our discipleship but also to be leaders and empower others to share the Good News. This comes through strong faith conviction, humble prayer and knowledge and formation in this way of life and way of thinking. A leader has to be a disciple, a good disciple is a good leader.
